Features
- Buchanans Manway Covers B-1130 are wholly cast from primary aluminium. They comply with Australian & New Zealand "highway normal" axle loading standards and have a clear inside access diameter of 1036mm.
- Designed in consultation with and professionally engineered for the petroleum industry.
- Support ring, lid and tobies manufactured from primary aluminium to ADC standard CC601/TI to provide the cover with high strength, light weight and maximum resistance to corrosion.
- Tobies flush mounted and sealed to avoid traffic rattle, minimise pedestrian hazard and prevent ingress/egress of water vapour.
- Aesthetically pleasing surface finish with grip tread pattern for traffic and pedestrian safety.
- Support ring design to facilitate cost effective installation in forecourt concrete.
- Provision of installation jack lugs to allow the support ring to be correctly located and supported until the concrete has been poured and cured.
- Enhanced lid seal effectiveness through the use of six lid retaining screws allowing optimum compression of special D seal and the incorporation of drainways to free water from the seal surround.
- Tamper free security through the use of recessed lid retaining crews and offset keyhole for lid and toby removal.
