Winch Rope 10mm x 100m UHMWPE Core Polyester Sheath Double Braid to suit Docma and Simpson rope winches with capstan drum, 5500kg breakload when spliced ends are applied. 200m rolls available on special order.

The advantage of this specially made and designed rope is the use of the UHMWPE core which has extreme strength with low elongation and low stretch. It is encased with a 100% High Tenacity Polester double braid sheathing which gives the rope excellent grip quality when used on a capstan drum winch. UHMWPE and Kevlar ropes when used as a bare rope without the sheathing tend to slip on the rope drum causing pulling and traction issues. UHMWPE Core Polyester Sheath Double Braid is prefered by the extreme loggers, aborists and extreme adventure jet boaters. Ordinary Double Briad Polyester braid sold on this website is a great budget option with excellent grip strength but will stretch while pulling from 10 to 15% elongation.
